Guest guest
sri ganeshaya namah dear narasimha ji, namaste. as per b v raman book :predictive hindu astrology: , birth time is first supposed to be converted to local mean time , which when localized with the birth place coordinates would be the sidereal time of birth is used to calculate ascendant. when entering birth data in jhora , it shows a sidereal time value. is this value to be used when manually erecting a chart? using tables of ascendants ? or must be use the sidereal time as the birth time and check lmt option to arrive at correct ascendant? or is the sidereal time just given for information purposes and jhora directly calcuates ascendant using sidereal time and we must not bother and just enter birth time as recorded in hospital? it would be great if you could explain as in what settings to use and how? humbly, chandan s sabarwal.
