It should be solved. -- Best regards, François Carrière
Guest guest
dear Mr. Francois, It doesnt work. I have tried using word pad and also office word, it doesnt get pasted like a chart seen in Jhora the whole chart structure gets jumbled. this was not happening in the earlier versions. I am facing this problem only after the recent update installed. In the earlier versions it never used to get pasted in wordpad of office word but on notepad it was getting pasted exactly as seen in Jhora. thanks, good wishes, k.gopu--- On Sun, 11/22/09, Francois <yl.car.fr wrote: Francois <yl.car.fr Copying and pasting textjhora Date: Sunday, November 22, 2009, 10:53 PM Hello, jhora , K Gopu <kgopu_24@.. .> wrote:> But one change I have noticed is that in 7.33 version when the chart is copied to clipboard and pasted in notedpad it doesnt get pasted exactly particularly those squares in the chart go haywire which was not happening in the earlier version. As far as I remember, I always had this problem. Guest guest
Hello again, jhora , K Gopu <kgopu_24 wrote: > > It doesnt work. Under Word Pad, I have to make sure I chose a fixed font (such as *CourierPS*). No formatting is requested. I hope sincerely it will work for you, since I have no idea what to do otherwise. -- Best regards, François Carrière
Guest guest
I am using the latest version of JH and Windows Vista 64 with the latest updates. I copied to the clipboard and then pasted it into Notepad ++ which I find more useful than a lot of the others as it usually formats the way I want it. Yet it is highly configurable to the way I want it. So I guess maybe I don't understand what you are doing. I know that fixed fonts and font size are usually the things that create problems for me. To format to lists I always use Courier at 10 point size any bigger and the formatting falls apart. Then you have to use tabs or in WORD or OpenOffice a text box and tables etc. If I want more control I save the images of the charts to a directory and then use something like Scribus open source DTP software. So my publishing process would be text to Notepad++, graphics to a working directory and then assembly in Scribus which can write to a .pdf and include printer specs etc. Majid Buell
Guest guest
Namaste, I want to clarify that NOTHING has changed in the way JHora puts text on clipboard when you " copy " charts or any other calculations. This part has been the same for several releases. Because charts copied as text data are formatted with spaces, it is advisable to use a fixed width font such as Courier or Courier new. Some windows applications will collapse multiple spaces into one, while some applications will keep all the spaces. Usually NotepadPlus and Wordpad seem to be fine in my use, while Notepad is not. In any case, I cannot explain your observations, as nothing has changed. Guest guest
dear Mr.Francis, thanks for the inputs. I could change the fonts and size as advised by Sree Narasimhaji. Now i could get it pasted as seen in the chart. regards, k.gopu--- On Mon, 11/23/09, Francois CARRIERE <yl.car.fr wrote: Francois CARRIERE <yl.car.fr Re: Copying and pasting textjhora Date: Monday, November 23, 2009, 7:34 PM Hello again, jhora , K Gopu <kgopu_24@.. .> wrote:>> It doesnt work.
