But if i close the software and open it again it resets to the earlier timezone This gives me difficulty in casting prasna chart. If i press set current location as default in preferences menu,it shows the earlier location as default one. Solutions pls? I am thinking of uninstalling and reinstalling the software.Will i lose all the saved charts if i do so? Open a new chart, edit the longitude, latitude and timezone (or select the place from atlas) and then select "Preferences" and "Set current location as default". Then each prasna chart will be cast for that place and timezone.Change timezone feature is for convenience if a person is living away from birthplace. If someone born in Mumbai is living in New York and you change the timezone to New York timezone, all calculations (e.g. dasas in daily chart, annual charts etc) will be shown in New York timezone, even though actual calculations are made for Mumbai timezone. This is just for convenience. This feature should rarely be used.
