Yogi, avayogi and sahayogi clarification

Namaste friends,

 

I am working on a JHora release to include some new features talked about in my

recent articles (such as Vimsottari dasa based progression, arudha padas based

on exact longitudes, evaluation of planetary aspects accurately based on

longitudes, finding stationary transits of Jupiter, Saturn etc).

 

I remember that there was a complaint that yogi/avayogi/sahayogi is still

incorrect. I tried to search in archives, but I had no luck.

search is terrible.

 

Can someone tell me exactly what the problem is? I would love to take care of it

in the next release.

I am all set.

 

I should be adding 186 deg 40 min (or equivalently 66 deg 40 min) to the yoga

point to get the avayoga point. I was adding 180 deg. The error has been fixed

and will be available in the next JHora release. Yogi and sahayogi are already

fine. Only avayogi is sometimes (50% times) wrong.

dear narasimha ,

 

please dont forget the rashmi calculation in this new version !! also , it would

be great if rashis shodhana could be calculated seperately for each varga based

upon base rashimis derived from rasi longitudes and then rectifying with

divisional avashtas of planets for the particular varga...

In " Mundane " menu and " Lunar Charts " sub menu :

Is there a way to input moons longitude and find next or previous date that this occurs. e.g. 296 degrees or 300 degrees. Will be beneficial for calculating " panchak " . If there is no means for this in Jhora, is it possible for you to consider adding this feature. Also to find out next or previous occurance of various planets with longitude input.

Can eclipse mode data be copied to clip board?

That cannot be done in JHora now. But it is a very good and useful suggestion. I do want to add it, but not in the upcoming 7.4 release.
