Namaste,

I have it installed in a different location on my computer and just now

successfully updated it using

http://www.VedicAstrologer/prg/jh/test/jh_update.zip. Your conclusion is not

correct. Nothing is hard-coded.

Jhora_update.exe checks the registry entry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Jagannatha

Hora\Jagannatha Hora\Settings\Path and copies new jhora.exe to the bin

sub-directory of whatever directory name is stored in the above registry entry.

I wonder if you have multiple versions that are sharing the same registry

entries and hence there is some confusion. Also, if you made jhora.exe read-only

or have it running at the time of update, update will have a problem.

Best regards,

Narasimha
