dear narasimha namaste,

the relationship bug with jhora 7.4beta is real. when you click on a planet and

ask for compound relationship, several planets have no color codes on them and

appear blank, while others have grey ,red , etc. this is a new problem and wasnt

there with jhora 7.33

pls rectify.

best regards,

chandan singh.

Namaste,

Relationship menu items are dimmed when mouse is not on a planet. If the tip of

the mouse is on a planet, then only the menu is enabled and it will highlight

relationships of THAT planet.

But the relationships shown now are not of the chosen planet. I will fix it.

The problem was introduced when I partially implemented bhava charts (i.e. get

mouse on the reference of interest - lagna or a planet - and then select bhava

chakra. It shows bhava chakra of that divisional chart using divisional

longitudes. I implemented this only in south Indian style charts for my own use

and withdrew this feature for the formal release. I will give it when it is

available in all chart styles). The code that tracks the body on which mouse is

placed was expanded to include lagna (because you may need bhava chakra from

lagna), but relationships do not include lagna. Thus, there is discrepancy

between two arrays, resulting in highlights shown for a planet other than the

chosen one. I am fixing it now.

Best regards,

Narasimha

dear narasimha,

thanks for the acknowledgement. the bhava chakra for each divisional chart also

is a very interesting feature and it would be great if it could be formally

added to jhora soon . also many thanks for the rashmi calculations. however , i

was also expecting to see rashmi bala calculations of all 7 planets based on

natal longitude and then rectifying using avastha. for example multiply if in

exlt by 3 , mltrokna by 2 and so on ...

this concept can further be taken to each varga as parasara mentioned

rectification of rasmis based on avastha, but he obviously must have meant the

other vargas , as i dont understand why would one always rectify based on the

rasi longitudes itself ?

for example the sun is at 10 deg aries , so it naturally has all 10 rays , then

wht is the sense in further multiplying this by 3?

if this was the case then all born on akshaya tritiya would naturally have

above a minimum of 57 rays .. (30 for sun + 27 for moon).

but i believe after base rays have been found out based on rasi longitudes ,

rectification needs to be done based on avastha in d-60 and then that will give

real rasmi bala for every individual.

many thanks,

chandan singh.
