JHora File Management Issues

Dear Narasimha:

I know there are many engineers on the list who understand computer programming

far better than I do, so I am going to try to present the problem I have been

having with File Management in JHora in the hope that someone will have the

patience to help me.

A. I have copied below the JHora files from the C drive of my partitioned

MacIntel. I am primarily a Mac user so I have problems in navigating in the PC

files.

As I have installed updates of JHora through the years, I think I added another

file folder (called Jyotisha in the list), which duplicates earlier JHora

versions and takes up space on the Windows XP side of the computer.

I want to delete some files that I think are duplicates, but do not want to

delete the wrong file. Can you decipher from the list where the duplication

occurs? As you can see the total file is 144 MB, but that file contains " two

JHora " files, and I think the latest JHora 7.4 Beta file resides in " Jyotisha. "

B. My second JHora question is about archiving the files. I noticed in JH 7.4 it

is possible to create file folders, which I have done to attempt to place my

single files according to years or other categories. I have done this, but of

course the file folders with the chart data are in the C drive Program files.

Is this where I should be working?

I have backed up the data file as well as the JHora file (144 MB] in the list as

a precaution. If this is too complicated, I understand, and I will continue to

work with the files as they are. The Windows side of the computer takes up far

more RAM than the Mac side, and I need to find more space so I can work on the

windows side. (I only have 1.09 GB left to work with on the Windows side).

Since I think I have duplicate JHora files running, I thought that would be a

good place to start to find more space on my C drive.

Thank you for any assistance and suggestions you or others may have.

Namaste,

Janna
