Respected Narasimha ji,

I have downloaded the latest version of Jhora and take this opportunity

to thank you for your great contribution to the Jyotish world.

Wish you all the blessing from the divine force so that you can continue

to do the great service you are doing.

now coming to the problem faced while using the TP chart.

looking at the current controversy of the TP chart calculations, i tried

to see what kind of difference is shown in my TP chart using both the

methods of calculation.

strangely i found that using both the methods of calculation gave me the

same TP chart which is calculated for the same day and same time inspite

of checking the option of TP chart calculation in the Preferences.

the birth data i am using is as follows:

15th Nov. 1980

11:48:16 (24 hours format)

Ahmedabad

India

Request you to please guide me in this situation.

Regards

Neurostro

PS: I use the settings as recommeded by You

Namaste,

Using solar months vs soli-lunar months does not necessarily change TP

calculations for everyone and in every year. In 90% of the cases, both methods

result in the same chart. There is a difference only in border cases.

In some rare charts, annual TP is changed by one month almost every year. In

most charts, annual TP is changed by one month in very few years. Thus, do not

expect your TP chart to change when you change the option. It will change only

in some rare cases.

* * *

Take me for example (1970 April 4, 5:47 pm (IST), Machilipatnam, India). My

annual TP chart is the same with both approaches in most years. The 1991-92

chart was different.

Solar months give TP on 1991 April 13 at 8:00 am. I left India on 1991 August 15

in Moon dasa as per annual TA dasa. In rasi and D-4, Moon is the 3rd lord in

11th. It does not show foreign travel with any kind of clarity.

Soli-lunar months give TP on 1991 March 14 at 5:49 pm. Mars-Venus antardasa gave

the event as per annual TA dasa. Mars is the 9th lord in rasi and 12th lord in

D-4 and clearly shows foreign travel. He is also the 2nd and 9th lord in 2nd in

D-24 and shows travelling abroad for higher studies (masters). Venus is within 2

deg from jalapatana sahamam in rasi chart. In D-4, he is the 9th lord from Mars.

Overall, going abroad for higher studies in Mars-Venus antardasa makes sense

using simple logic and there is no need to use convoluted arguments.

Best regards,

Narasimha

Brother Narsimha,

Grow up, Pls learn application of Transit from Lagna and Moon with

respect to Vimshottari, How long you will remain trapped in such

insignificant charts/techniques.

Whether TP or Solar Retrun, they all are initial efforts done to

understand dasha and transit.

Utkal,

Grow up, Pls learn application of Transit from Lagna and Moon with

respect to Vimshottari,

For a change, why don't you grow up and stop passing useless comments. Incase

you do not have anything significant to contribute, refrain from advising

people.

The effort that I m doing is has a purpose is to take him back
