Guest guest
Namaste Sri Narasimha Ji, I have a query regarding a problem I am facing while using JHora. When I go to View > View jhora.ini file, Notepad opens a blank text file and a dialogue box comes up which reads... " Cannot find the C:\Program Files\Jagannatha Hora\jhcore\jhora.ini file. Do you want to create a new file? " This dialogue box has three options: yes, no and cancel; however, neither of these options gives me my preference settings. I also experience a similar problem when I go on Edit > Chart notes (in notepad). The blank txt file opens up and so does a similar dialogue box, the only difference being that instead of jhcore\jhora.ini, it refers to the data folder and a .txt file with the same name as the .jhd file open. Because of this problem, I am unable to view my preference settings or save notes for files. It would be very useful if I could save notes for individual charts as I like to list down which conditional nakshatra dasas are applicable for an individual. Please help me / advise me. Thank you very much. Yours sincerely, Paawan.

Guest guest
Namaste Sri Narasimha Ji and all members, I have understood and solved this problem. If anyone else is having a similar problem, the issue is that we need to save our .jhd files in a folder other than the data folder in which the original ones come as Windows Vista (and 7) does not give us writing rights in this folder (except through the JHora application). Warm regards,Paawan. pav_pv Thursday, April 01, 2010 7:09 PM jhora Re: Problem regarding text files Namaste Sri Narasimha Ji,Sorry for the second post but I feel that you may have overlooked my message.
