Guest guest
Dear Narasimhaji, Namaste. I'm using JHora 7.4 release with Arudha Pada calculations using Longitude options check box ON. I'm finding that AL and Ascendant are in the same sign in a few cases - I recollect you saying that even using longitudes for AL calculation - the " Move the AL by 10 houses " - exception was being applied, when the AL ends up in 1st or 7th from the bhava. Then how does this occur? Here Ascendant is at 9 Li 43 and AL is at 0 Li 4. Asc is at 189.71, Venus is 4.88 - Degrees diff is 175.71 AL is 4.88 + 175.71 = 180.05 approx so ends in 0 Li 4. The AL is calculated accurately mathematically - but don't see the exception being applied. I'm sure you have many examples to test with but just in case Apr 1, 1978 20:15pm New Delhi for testing this condition. My apologies if this is already answered and addressed. I would appreciate if you could review this for me Thanks Shrikanth
Guest guest
Namaste, If you are using longitude-based arudha padas, please see the definition in http://www.VedicAstrologer.org/articles/padamsa_transit.pdf on my article website. The longitude 0Li4 is in the 12th house from 9Li43. Had you gotten the arudha pada at 20Li04, for example, the exception would've been applied and it would've been adjusted to 20Cn04.
