Guest guest
Unfortunately, none of the Lal Kitab editions goes into too many details on this repetitive cycle of 35 years. There are two distinct issues here. One is the 35 year repetitive cycle and the other is "mahadasha" according to Lal Kitab. Interestingly, the number of years of Mahadasha period for each planet is the same as the classical Vinshottari dasha. In LK, Mahadasha is used in somewhat negative connotation. Perhaps the 1942 edition carries the most amount of detail. Over the years, Pt Roop Chand ji stopped emphasizing the importance of Mahadasha and used it very rarely. The 35-year cycle was always used by him and Pt Som Dutt uses it quite a bit.
