When can I become a Team leader or shall I switch to software. ...

Dear Friends,

 

I am Rajesh, working in a call center as a tech, I have done my

Diploma in Computers and then BE in Computers…, but now working in a

entirely different field.

 

OK, I am a Libran and feel can do better in management side, but it

so happened in December 2002 - January 2003 was an interview schedule

for me to rise to a Team leader position.

 

It was three rounds to clear, I had worked hard for it, (day and

night improving my skill set).

 

I cleared first round and got 67% this was the highest in the history

of the company, the next immediate compotator for the same post had

secured 58 and so on descending. I already had a lead of 9%.

 

Second round was on 3rd January, out of 5 I secured 4.33 again

topped, the next one was at 3.57 and so on others descending….

 

At the third round, entire office knew, that I need not even attend

and I will surely be selected, but suddenly when the results came out

things were against me, I had done absolutely well but the results

were negative.

 

Few in the office complain that I had no influence that being the

reason I was a victim of office politics. Now my career is at a stake

and am blocked to decide to continue in call center itself or switch

to software position.

 

I request you to please let me know according to lalkitab what can be

the best field for me (management as a team leader and grow in this

area or switch to software field.

 

And if Management is good for me ( as a libran is good in management)

when will I grow, should I be in the same company or change.
