Guest guest
Dear group, In Vedic Astrology, the chart that is used is called the 'Rashi chart'. It gives the exact position of the planet within a sign, but an approximation of the planet's position in a house. There is another chart, but it is very rarely used. It is called 'Chalit' or 'Bhava chart'. It gives the exact position of the planets within a house, but rough estimate of the sign. Since we are more concerned with the house in which a planet resides in Lal Kitab, wouldn't it be more accurate to use the Chalit for Lal kitab readings. Thank You GP

If it uses just the Rasi [ Kal Purush included ]then it is going to be the same for every body born in those two hours across 30 degrees of Longitude space. upadhyay
