The second place is ranjan publications Draya gunj. At these two shops you have to be careful about what you are buying because they keep books of the lowest standard too. For classics of course Motilal banarsi das university road or manohar lal and sons nai sark thats where you will get the authentic books.But none of them has the Lal Kitab I suggest that you start With Pt. Krishna Ashant ji's books on and about Lal kitab. [ a ]prashtha bhumi and vyakhya three small volumes on lagna [c ] pitra- rin [d ] trik bhavan. This last book on trik bhavan is fantastic.... very scientific and very logical.It has been co-authored by Amrita Pritam the famous litrary writer. Now about the book lal kitab. Many years ago i had bought a photo copied version in hindi of the 1952 ed.for 1400 Rs . It is claimed to be translated by a student of Roop Chand Joshi ji.The best part of this version of the book is that it is not only authentic it carries notes in the margin which are such a great help in understanding the book. There are other editions too available known as arun sanhita.I have them all too .But comparing arun sanhita with the 1952 ed which i have , i find a few paragraphs missing here and there . Bhatia ji , the leader of this had mentioned a couple of other editions some time back , ofcourse he had advised not to buy them.
