Dear Ashok ji,

 

Yes , your wife could do the upaya on her behalf, although it would

be better if your daughter could do them herself. Its just not the

upaya but the participation in it which is also important.Well if

for some unavoidable reasons your daughter can't do the upaya , her

mother too can do for her.

 

The rationale for the upaya could be found in Pt. Krishna Ashant ji's

book. You would agree that it will be too much for me to explain the

rationale for upaya in four or five requests that I attend each day.
