Let me first tell about my friend who is narrating this in bits to me.

Today he came he came with two friends whose readings I had to do and

there was no time for him to narrate his personal experiences with Pandit

Roop Chand.

My friend who retired as the principal of a college in Delhi is very

dignified and is an astrologer himself. He tells me privately that the

remedial measures prescribed by so many in Delhi do not work at all. They

are only making money. But he knows personally that the remedies

prescribed by Roop Chand worked always. He told me of one case to which

he has been a first hand witness. I will write about it later.

PPV had heard about Pandit Roop Chand who lived in Pharwala in

the Punjab before the partition of India. Later, after the partition of

the country, he moved to the Indian part of Punjab.

He would see horoscopes only for two hours in the morning from 6

to 8 AM very strictly. He never saw any horoscope after 8.AM. If it was

8.01 AM when anyone arrived, he refused to see his horoscope however

important might that man be.

The remedial measures prescribed by Roop Chand always worked according

to my friend. Others who are prescribing are also finding this working

but not to such an extent. One good reason for this is that there is no

cheating here. The remedies prescribed appear odd, baffling but work

because those prescribing do no make any money out it, do not do any

cheating is the one explanation given by my friend. He gave one instance

which I will narrate later.
