Guest guest
Dear colleagues and friends I am an amatuer astrologer and use KP I noted that many are members of both groups, which makes this a great forumn for serious discussions. Congratulations to Pundit pandeyji for a successful group. I have found that some of the remedies used in wicca are proabaly more useful, is there anyone who has done research on this area? Guest guest
Yash ji, It would be great if you can provide more information on Wicca remedies. As Wicca is not and Indian knowledge, I am not much aware of it. Also if possible give some examples, and it's origin. Guest guest
Modern Wicca is a nature/earth focussed belief system that has grown out of Witchcraft. There is no congregation in Wicca, all initiates are priests and priestesses and there is no hierarchy beyond that within a coven. Wicca involves ritual and there is debate as to whether it is an `initiation only' religion or one into which one can self-initiate. The Craft is about training your mind and being to be focussed and takes a great deal of effort and perseverance, eventually enabling you to use your will and power to materialise change for good. It may also include learning herbcraft and other healing skills. It believes in the female Godess and God ( with me being a Hindu I can see the analogy with our Durga/Parvathi Shiva). It is not witchcraft per se, but I am sure you will all agree with me that a higher force governs us, by appealing to God through a set format and ritual (which is what our yogis do) it may be possible to change destiny. In lal kitab for example say Rahu is malefic and in fifth house of native it leads to abortions and this tendency can be reduced say by ) Keep an elephant made of silver and abstain from wine, non-vegetarianism and adultery etc. However in wicca by using an amulet and drinking tea made from milk thistle during particular moon phases(thithis) we can ensure that the mother does deliver a healthy child. Although what I am describing is imaginary I have see a few practical cases where this has worked very effectively. Hence combining our Lal kitab remedies with wiccan spells will enable us to help people better. It uses herbal remedies and other factors to achieve this. Guest guest
Kulbirji and Rajeevji, I am not saying lal kitab is not useful--- it is very useful but we can improve on it by adding knowledge from other disciplines. for example 20 years ago heart by pass for heart attack was rarely done but today it is routine all over the world. So we too can incorporate and try and improve our field. Wicca is an old but well developed discipline that we can learn from.
