Guest guest
John, re copper coins, i needed a copper coin and hit the same dilema - I have assumed with your name being John you may be in the west, and copper coins are easy to have in India. Yesterday I went onto ebay auction site and have picked up a copper coin that has been sun punched - it has an indentation of rays of the sun - and it was only £1. I am very happy with this fine. kind regards su - john32825 lalkitab Sunday, December 19, 2004 2:17 AM [lalkitab] Copper Coins Dear Guruji'sAccording to Lal Kitab Remidies, throwing of copper coin is one of the remadies. However, in todays world, to get copper coins is very difficult. My question is, instead of copper coins, whether copper peices or copper washers (round in side with a hole in the middle) can be used instead of copper coins?Kindly request all guruji's advise.Kind Regards,John. Guest guest
John, Copper pieces should be whole, not with any holes in the middle. Are you in the West? Where do u live? Home Depot or any major hardware retailer will have plumbing gaskets or hinges, which can be cut up into equal pieces of solid copper, and then thrown into running water, depending on the upaye you are doing. However, if you are doing an upaye such as tying a copper piece around your neck, then a washer or something with a hole in it is fine. That is what I recommend - Also, FYI coins in the west are actually steel based inside, even though the pennies may look to be copper. Guest guest
Sorabh ji; everything comng under round circumference bears the imprint of budh. copper coins were/are used to symbolise SUN because of copper metal and the sovereign seal of the KING. u can find more details at the introductory part of SUN to see the connection between GOL DAIRA budh and sun.mrsorabhsharma <mrsorabhsharma wrote: Dear Sirs and Respected Varun Ji I have read somewhere on the net that generally old copper coins which are not of use (not in current currency) should be disposed of and not kept in the house as this can be a sign of a malefic mercury. What is the reason for this? What has mercury got to do with copper coins? And Would this conflict with the upaya of wearing a copper coin around the neck if that coin around the neck is not of current currency? I will look forward to your answer. Thank you in advance.Kindest RegardsSorabhKulbir Bains Download prohibited? No problem! CHAT from any browser, without download. Guest guest
dear sir, these r intelligent questions; but r from the basics of lk. there is no harm in keeping old cu coins at home; they do not represent Budh.Though generally round objects r usually related to budh; but it is not always so. Only old cu coins with a hole i.e. 'chhed wala paisa' should not be kept at home, it may represent budh. there is no relation of copper 'coin' in the remedy of budh 11. even a simple piece of cu with a hole can be worn around the neck. sincerely, kiranjeet Be a better Heartthrob. Guest guest
Dear Kiranjit Kumar ji You have said " there is no relation of copper 'coin' in the remedy of budh 11. " That is not true. 1952 urdu ed page # 576 { or page 198 of Arun sanhita} for mandi halat of mercury in the 11th house says, " ab budh ka grah ullu ka pattha hoga, gale mein tambe ka paisa madadgar hoga " ...incidently there is a cute sketch of an owlet on the side. Therefore the copper paisa is the remedy of choice for mercury in the 11th house. Secondly you have said " even a simple piece of cu with a hole can be worn around the neck. " Once again I disagree. Not only that a simple piece of copper can not be used in this case, no hole should be done in the piece itself. The same is true about the copper paisa also, no hole should be done in the paisa; instead a small hook should be attached to the coin for the thread to pass through. Guest guest
dear chandra prakash ji, your attention is brought to lk 1952 edition page 576; where under mandi halat budh 11; it is given that 'mandi halat ke waqt sooraj ki madad(gale mein taanbe ka paisa ya taanbe ka chhota sa tukra) mubarak hoga' it is what makes lk difficult to understand as all matters pertaining to one planet r not given at one place. Bold headings of the subject matter mean sometimes entirely different from what is written in the narration. how one wears it, these r different understandings of different practitioners as par their experiences; hole or kundi and even the thread part to wear it;there will be no single opinion. i shall be looking foreward to more experienced gurujans and practiotioners of lk if they can guide us to a single method of wearing the cu coin or cu piece around the neck as remedy for budh 11. regards and best wishes; kiranjeet Be a better Globetrotter. Guest guest
Dear Kiranjit Kumar ji, Yes I am aware of the line you have quoted. But that line is for the mercury of the 9th house when placed in the 11th in varsh phal kundali.{ section #3 }. As for how to wear a copper coin my view is that no hole be done in the coin itself. The copper coin can be worn in a silver chain { moon }or a gold chain { jupiter } or a silk thread { moon } The copper coin can not be worn in a cotton thread { venus } With regards, Chandra Prakash , kiranjit kumar <kapatjal wrote: > > dear chandra prakash ji, > your attention is brought to lk 1952 edition page 576; where under mandi halat budh 11; it is given that > 'mandi halat ke waqt sooraj ki madad(gale mein taanbe ka paisa ya taanbe ka chhota sa tukra) mubarak hoga' > it is what makes lk difficult to understand as all matters pertaining to one planet r not given at one place. Guest guest
dear sir, a few questions : 1. as mr. saurab had asked;can naya paisa coins be used; if yes, then should it be bigger one (i.e. ghore wala) or the smaller one may also be used. If it cannot be used, the reasons thereof. 2. cu coins r getting scarce;if not available, what would be the remedy for budh 11. 3. cu is for the sun; what is specific about minted cu that only it should be used for the remedy. please do write. with best wishes; sincerely, kiranjeet Get the free toolbar and rest assured with the added security of spyware protection. Guest guest
Dear Kiranjit Kumar ji, [ 1 ] Any round coin made of copper can be used. It can be of any size so long as it is made of copper and is round. Whether the coin is old or new, or is of Indian currency or any foreign currency should not make any difference. [ 2 ] Yes you are right that the copper coins are becoming very rare and those which are available are not of entirely copper either. They are minted out of other metals mixed with copper. They have a copper coating in most cases. Therefore it is better that we suggest round copper pieces instead of copper coins. The round copper pieces would at least be entirely of copper and represent the sun in at least two of the three characteristics of the sun if not all the three. [ 3 ] The most significant thing a coin contains is the Royal insignia , the seal of royal authority. Therefore a minted coin represents the Sun more truely than any thing else. A minted coin symbolises the Sun in three ways [ a ]it is made of shining copper the karak metal of the Sun [ b ] it is round , the shape of the sun [ c ] and most importantly the 'rajya adhikar' [royal authority] the significant 'gun' [characteristic] of the sun.
