Guest guest
Dear Ritu ji, Chakki is a karak object of mercury+venus, the significator planets for the 7th house. Chakki has two grinding stones, venus representing the lower and the mercury the upper. In the villages , even these days, every house has a chakki. It may not be used to grind wheat for flour but is still used to rough grind cattle feed . I am not sure if a grindstone is the same thing as a chakki. sincerely, priya lalkitab , " Ritu Lalit " <ritulalit@h...> wrote: > > > > a real chakki might be difficult to get - but grindstone should also > work i think - since it is round. > > Ritu > > lalkitab , " Nishant A.S. Guest guest
Dear Bhushanpriya ji, Instead of a chakki why can't we use a mixie which serves the same purpose. This may be considered by the members. Guest guest
No it is not - and I can u/s now that it would not be appropriate. A grindstone would be a sil-batta (one can get a round one) but will not have two circular portions put together .... so would not work I guess.
