Guest guest
Namaskar Bhatiaji and Dear Forum, Thanks for pointing out these shortcomings in the reference texts. Similar things have been written in case of Rahu being in 12th house. I believe I saw it in Goswami and Vashisht(Sagar Publications) that if in a native's chart, if Rahu is in 12th house, its inauspicious for the person to live in a house facing South. What are the recommended remedies (if any) in the original Lal Kitabs for people livinh in houses facing South ? It appears that living in houses facing South is generally inauspicious (for several planetary positions)... please correct me if I'm drawing a wrong conclusion based on these references. I believe books by Goswami and Vashisht(Sagar Publications) as well as by Shri Chillar are amongst the books recommended for learning Lal Kitab. Please suggest alternatives if you believe these are not upto the standard.. Thanks, Anshev B Bhardwejj lalkitab , Rajinder Bhatia <rajinderbhatia2002> wrote: > Anshev Jee, > > The confusion that Priya Jee and I have, is caused by the fact that the overall upaya is not mentioned in any of the five books, as far as I can tell. I could be wrong but I don't remember seeing this in context of Sun in the eighth. Before donating a goat, one must look at Mercury first. In my opinion, that is imperitive. Just see what happened to Shree Gupta Jee - he was prescribed illogical and non-standard remedial measures. > > At the same time, I see where you are coming from and you are 100% justified in your belief - you are going by what you have seen in these two books. I haven't seen Shri Chillar's book so I can't comment on that. The Vashist-Goswami book, which I initially thought was quite well done. But on further reading, I put it aside because of atrociously unacceptable translation. It is collecting dust somewhere in a closet and I have reverted back to the original LalKitab. > > Respectfully, > Rajinder Bhatia > > Anshev B Bhardwejj <anshevb> wrote: > > > Dear Priya ji and Shunny Nigamji, > > The following are some of the quotations, offered as reference for > my statement Re: South facing houses and Sun in 8th house... > > Thanks, > Anshev > > --------------------- > Ref # 1: Lal Kitab by Pt. Guest guest
Dear Anshev ji, [ 1 ] The Lal Kitab does not mention that it is inauspicious to live in a house facing south for a person with Rahu in the 12th. {pages 685 - 688 , ed52 }. Although , it is never considered auspicious to live in a house facing south. [ 2 ] There isn't any thing wrong in reading the books written about the Lal Kitab , but to think that these books are either complete or authentic will be a mistake. Each author of these books has his own understanding of the Lal Kitab , and it is for you to decide what to make of it. [ 3 ] If one wants to learn the Lal Kitab system he must have the 1952 edition ,there is no short cut to it. Sincerely, Priya lalkitab , " Anshev B Bhardwejj " <anshevb> wrote: > > > Namaskar Bhatiaji and Dear Forum, > > Thanks for pointing out these shortcomings in the reference texts. > Similar things have been written in case of Rahu being in 12th > house.
