Guest guest
Dear Ramanujam, In the Lal Kitab feeding a roti to a cow, a dog and crows is termed as giving a 'gau gras'. Every householder is advised to give a 'gau gras' every day. This is essential for the peace and the prosperity of the family. Quite a few other animals and birds are also mentioned as karak objects of various planets, but not in the sense of worshipping them. It is a long list, I can't possibly give because of the time constraint. As for the trees, it is the Peepal tree which holds a significant place in upaya. It is done to appease Jupiter. Although Bargad { banyan tree} representing Jupiter + moon, Neem tree representing benefic Mars, and mango tree representing mercury + saturn are also mentioned but not in the sence of worshipping them. They have their relevance in a few upaya. As for the tulsi and the bilva tree, there is no mention in the Lal Kitab. Sincerely, Priya , " ramanujam_ps2003 " <ramanujam_ps2003 wrote: > > Respected Guruji, namasthe. > This is a request to enlight my knowledge on importance of serving > different creatures of this universe which inturn help in our wellbeing. > I read in the forum messages in which to some people it was suggested > upaya of feeding COW_DOG_CROW and watering different plants like TULASI > and PEEPAL. > In this context I would request your gracious attention to let the > group know towards watering plants like PEEPAL,TULASI,BILVA (maaredu) by > keeping the respective plants in small pots irrespective of one's own > kundali and the kind of blessings that one can attain through this seva > towards plants. > With regards > P.S.Ramanuja charyulu >
