Guest guest
Dear Balaji, //Also, if Varshapal indicates something, then the same can also be understood from transits of MD, AD and PD lords, right?// Absolutely! Perhaps we can think of varshaphal as shining a spotlight on the current (vimsottari) dasas...a confirmation of what is manifesting in Rasi! But, you're correct that it's not necessary. //Already, I'm confused, and Parasara shows the light. So, I don't want to confuse myself more! :-)// I agree it can lead to confusion if viewed as a different technique rather than a supplement. I think, at this point in time, it would not be advisable for you to explore supplementary techniques. Just stick to the basics until your confidence grows :-) Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com jyotish-vidya ___ - " Balaji Narasimhan " <sherlockbalaji <jyotish-vidya > Friday, May 04, 2007 8:00 PM Re: Varshapal Wendy ji, Thanks for the notes on Varshaphal. I have tried to read stuff relating to many things--Jaimini, Prashna, Varshaphal, etc. I even asked a few palmists about how they did their stuff! But, ultimately, I have realized, thanks to you, that Parasara knows best. So, no more will I dabble in anything non-Parasarian! Already, I'm confused, and Parasara shows the light. So, I don't want to confuse myself more! :-) Of course, this is just what I feel personally--our destiny choses the system of astrology--Jaimini, Parasara, Western, Placidius, etc--does it not? In my case, Fate has perhaps decided that I follow Parasara, and nobody else! :-) Also, if Varshapal indicates something, then the same can also be understood from transits of MD, AD and PD lords, right? ~~~~~~~~~ Balaji Narasimhan Author & Editor http://www.balaji.ind.in/ ~~~~~~~~~

These (other) systems are fundamentally different at the level of Janma Kundali itself and employ totally different predictive techniques.
