Guest guest
Dear Seema, Be on your own. You do not have to take any body's word, including mine, as final as far as your life is concerned. I appreciate your honesty in being strait forward about your relations with your Mother-in-Law { M I L}. I can accept that some of us become a bit unreasonable at our age { 60 + }, but then slight affection from you could make all the difference. I know you do not like your M I L , but a small gift to her now and then would make a lot of difference in your relationship. The winter is approaching, how about gifting her a nice warm and cozy shawl just to break the ice. If you believe that the miscarriage was due to her curse, think how much upset she would have been to curse you.I can imagine how pained your mother-in-law would have been to curse her own unborn grandchild. Seema, just be considerate to your mother-in-law. Old people need emotional support from the younger people, even if they are financially sound. You are such a sweet lady. May God bless you.
