[ 3 ] If you want to retain the toy elephant you can. As per the rules items of gold or silver used in upaya need not be gifted away. They can be retained after washing in either ganga jal or rain water. [ 4 ] Yes, this year rahu is well placed and you do not need any upaya for the rahu. Please reply if you want to suggest otherwise. Else I will carry on with the Upaya.
