Sun upayas

Dear Priya,

you have adviced the following Sun upayas:

[ 1 ] you could offer water to the Sun God, [ 2 ] you could recite the stotra of the Sun, [ 3 ] you could feed termites sugar , rice and seasame seeds { til }[4]coin upaya

Any of them shall do or s ther oe or two more important among the others?E.g., offering water will be the same in effect with the coin upaya or the Surya stotra?Or doing the coin upaya is neccesary while the others are optional?Also, if it is not too hard for you, could you,please,explain to me the logic if the coin upaya and how it works?
