Lal Fitkari means [ mars + mercury ] which is the malefic part of Saturn. We have to destroy the malefic part of the Saturn and not the whole Saturn. [ 2 ] Distancing the effect of the Sun away through immersing wheat is not advisable because the Sun is Dhanesh, lord of the 2nd house. From the 8th house it is aspecting its own house and thus strengthening the 2nd house [ of wealth ]. If we distance that away it might result in loss of wealth [ 2nd house ], or no savings. I wouldn't take that risk. Suggesting upaya is not a mechanical process, one has to keep so many things in mind. I do not say that I am perfect, I also make mistakes. But I try my best to devise the most suitable upaya possible. In his case the Sun from the 11th had moved to the 10th after bhav-spashta. Therefore both the moon and the sun are placed in the 8th. I will not advise you to immerse wheat. [ 2 ] Since his Saturn is not well placed this year I will not advise that you gift him a car or any thing of iron. He is not suppoesed to accept any thing of iron and steel during this year. This happens because his Lagna is at 25 degrees in Cancer [ kark ] and Mars is at 7deg 26, and jupiter is at 8deg 45 ; and the Sun is at 7deg 17. If so then should we still do the red fitakri upai or bury kala namak only to remove maleficity of saturn in the 1st house? Just wish to confirm this before doing the upai for saturn. Lal [ mars ] fitkari [ mercury ]; the two together form the Saturn rahu swabhav. I would prefer destroying the rahu swabhav of the Saturn and not the whole Saturn. I leave the rest to you.
