The Ishta Devta through the horoscope should be identified only if there is no family tradition of worshippinga Devta or one doesn't have a natural liking or affinity to any particular deity. Since you already have a liking for a deity accept him as your Ishta Devta. How ever according to your horoscope any form of Shakti like Goddess Parvati, Durga, or Lakshmi can be accepted as your Ishta Devta. My venus mahadasha started in oct 2004 and venus/venus was going on till now..now from feb 2008 I am in venus/sun dasha. Now my son will be going to 1st std. Being a housewife for last few years has made me want a good work-life balance in future and I am still not sure what I can do that will satify my need to work and also manage my responsibilities as a wife, mother, daughter and daughter-in-law.
