Dear Fellow astrologers,

I request you all to kindly enlighten on Jupiter's transit: according

to one panchang it is end of this month, another says in November and

some more say it is on 6th Dec, 9th December and 29th December etc.

Which is right. Kindly enlighten.

Dear Mr Dhinakar

The Transit of Jupiter, i.e. Jupiter enters Capricorn lae night of 9th December 2008. You can safely take it as 10th December 2008. The different dates are due to different ayanamsha used at different places. But I have calculated using Lahiri's ayanamsha, which is widely used and accepted.

The reason for this question is according to naadi granths (leafs) the

Jupiter is transit on 28th October 2008. Can anybody expatiate

further. Naadi uses Vakiya system and I follow only vakiya system and

not Drnk kanitha/Tirukanitha system as it is not accurate and not used

by ancient astrological system as Tirukanitha is mainly for

astronomers.
