Guest guest
/*om namo bhagavate narasimhaya*/ Dear Srikanth, Methodology to use correct dasa in chart: If there is condition to use special dasas, use it. If not check stronger between Lagna and Moon to see the starting point for Udu dasa. If Moon is in third or eight use Utpanna Vimshottari, or if all Kendras are occupied use Tara dasa. If Jupiter is strong in Kendra use Narayana dasa, for Surya in same position use Moola and Naisargika Dasa. Kshema and other dasas are not used widely in Phalita Natal Jyotisha. Guest guest
Dear Rafalji, Thanks for the quick response on this. Just like to get a full understanding. For determining stronger between Lagna and Moon: We would be counting the number of planets in Kendras from the Lagna/Moon. Do we include Rahu/Ketu or leave them out. Accordingly we would use Lagna Sphuta (for Lagna) or Janma Tara (Moon stronger) - let me know if this is correct. I would appreciate if you could explain Utpanna Vimshottari 5th star. What is the relevance of the 5th star from birth star when the Moon is placed in 3/8 from lagna. Knowing the " why " makes it easier for me to naturally apply it rather than remembering " Moon in 3/8 --> use Utpanna " One last question. When multiple dasa systems are applicable for a native (Say Chaturaseeti and Shatabdhika which I have) - should an event in life be explainable by all the applicable dasa systems. It would be nice if you could throw some light about this. Guest guest
Pranams to all learned members, For most part while looking at charts I use the normal Vimshottari dasa (from Janma Tara) or based on some conditions in the chart switch to Conditional dasas like Dwisaptati or Chaturaseeti or Shatabdika etc., As required may be add other Rasi dasas Narayana, Moola, Shoola etc., I have followed PVR Narasimhaji's MP3s - As far as I can recollect PVRji has covered Tribhagi Vimshottari in detail and has references of Lagna Sphuta Vimshottari. I would like to know when/how to use alternative start points/references for Vimshottari dasa like Utpanna, Kshema or Adhana etc., JHora has like 10-15 references points in the drop down box. I would greatly appreciate if somebody could provide us some detailed explanation / links to articles / PDFs about this topic. Thanks Shrikanth Gopalan
Guest guest
/*om namo bhagavate narasimhaya*/ Dear Srikanth , Yes, we include nodes. Choose the most rare system of dasa. Shastihayani condition happens more rare than for example Ashtottari (close to 25%) hence use Shastihayani then (100/12 percent). Rest is correct, dont have clear explanation why we use 3/8, I know it it connected to Shristi (3) and transformation (8).
