Guest guest
Dear and members, I attach a file showing the strength of Mercury in transit for the next twelve months or so. It is calculated to reflect the impact of combustion, infancy, old age and debilitation. Even then, this calculation is only a rough guide, as some nuances are not reflected in the calculation. One such offset is when Mercury is transiting its own sign (Gemini) or the sign of its exaltation (Virgo), where it gains extra strength. Nor does the calculation reflect the sign placement of Mercury in navamsa chart. The calculation also does not reflect the impact of afflictions to Mercury in transit, nor on the MEP of the sign Virgo (for particular ascendants). Nevertheless, this picture offers a useful guide to understand the variable transit strength of this fast moving planet, which is so often combusted by the bright rays of the sun. The file may also be viewed on the Satva101 web page, in the Files section. Best regards, C Mail Mobile Take Mail with you! Check email on your mobile phone. Guest guest
Hi, Another important factor for the transit strength of Mercury is the transit strength of its dispositor. When Mercury is passing through a Moolatrikona sign one should look at the strength of the dispositor, i.e. Mars in the case of Aries, Sun for Leo, Venus for Libra, Jupiter for Sagittarius and Saturn for Aquarius. Currently, Mercury is passing through Cancer. Due to Moon´s fast speed, its transit strength is even more variable than Mercury´s. The same logic applies to reading the transit strength of Saturn currently also in Cancer. Guest guest
Hi, I´ve updated this file in the files section to into account the strength of Mercury´s dispositor and the weakening effect of the transit affliction by Rahu to Mercury this year. /files The impact on the strength of Mercury is not as great as I had earlier thought. Still, there is an effect to weaken it some days.
