Guest guest
Hello dear Mr. Sharma, Very interesting question, indeed. Being an MBA I had been working with a Govt of India owned International Trading House with sparkling career opportunities including foreign postings and tours. This Company is one of the Indian Prime Minister's Navratana (Top 9) Companies. I took voluntary retirement 12 years in advance of my retiring age at the level of a Chief Marketing Manager to devote full time to astrology. In 1984 I was posted to Calcutta where another colleage of mine was in an advance learning stage of astrology and he tempted me to learn astrology. I was studying with the help of translated classics and my situation was same as that of other non-SA students. I started looking for the reasons why the predictions go wrong. So, my analysis lead me to the functional nature of the planets and with that the issues of planetary orbs of influence and planetary strengths came in. So rest is the story of continued work. In my initial years of learning I became Life Member with Indian Council of Astrological Sciences (ICAS). I wrote articles and books. Joined the faculty of the ICAS at Delhi. Participated in numerous conference and shared dais with prominent persons of Indian Astrology including late Dr. B V Raman. Once the Systems'Approach came in the distance started with those following only classical approach. The authors and exponents of classical literature were hesitant to accept SA. My books were sold internationally and were available in the first or second International Conference organised by ACVA in Cleveland - US. There were many who were interested in a precise, systematic and comparatively accurate predictive techniques. My first international student who had attended the Cleveland Conference was in 1992. Then there were many. Today, people from about 70 countries read and practice SA. In this journey I met variety of people/students. Some of them were dedicated to knowledge and some were appreciative of knowledge in the first stage but then they attached importance to their own personality. In the field of astrology some of my students had credentials as my students in the first place and then they started thinking that they were bigger than the knowledge and the creator of this particular branch of knowledge-SA. Over the years a few of the wise people left me and SA in quest of knowledge better than SA. I wish them all well. My aim is to support SA astrology learners which I follow by replying to the queries of the learners round the clock. I have placed the learning material on my website as a free access. And of course, some work I do as a professional astrologer to make my living.
