Guest guest
Dear Sir, Which house in the natal chart would indicate suitable direction for orientation of property. For libra and cancer ascendants in particular which directions would be most suitable? In our case we have observed that for some reason north/north-east facing houses have always given us lot of problems, whereas west facing has been relatively better. Is there a significance to this or did it just coincide with transitory effects I'm not sure. The current house we reside in is also north-east facing and we've had quite a few problems. Pls advise. Thanks in advance, Regards, PNR
Guest guest
Hello PNR, Direction of opening of houses does not depend on the ascending sign. The best houses are east-facing followed by west-facing, south facing and north facing. Guest guest
Hi Professor, You have said in one our your replies in this forum that best houses are east facing houses. How about north-east facing houses? Is it suitable for the entrance of the property. Does this applies for apartments as well? Where can i get more information on this? Guest guest
Dear Professor, Thank you again. On the market, there are many yantras that claim to fix these vastu failings. From an SA standpoint, it would be reckoned that these yantras would have little value unless they were created at an auspicious moment and comes from the right person. Firstly, are you of the opinion that such a problem can be fixed by a yantra and secondly, do you know of any such quality yantra? Guest guest
Hi Professor, In one of your book in the chapter " Relevance of Vastu to Astrology " , you stated that " It is important to have maximum benefit of the dwelling unit, which is derived through natural inflow of the sunlight and air. The provision of these basic necessities can be made if a house is facing east and its doors and windows open in the southeast, southwest and western directions. This will help in the influence of sunlight on the house throughout the day. " I know that the Sun rises in the East and Sets in the west but is there any reason North is ommitted eventhough southeast and southwest is mentioned? Appreciate if you could enlighten me on this. Thanks in Advance. Guest guest
Hello Asai, North is the direction for Kuber - ruling wealth. So, this portion of the house is to be protected. Houses closed in east and west and facing in north direction bring down the prosperity of the owner/resident. Guest guest
Hi Professor, Thank you very much. I have one more question on this subject. I can understand the east entrance is given importance because of the sunlight factor and for east facing house it is ideal to have the entrance facing the same direction as the house. Why is it then Southeast entrance is given importance in Vastu? Thanks again. Thanks, Asai , <siha wrote: > > > Hello Asai, > > North is the direction for Kuber - ruling wealth. Guest guest
Hello Asai, The east direction is preferred as the north east brings the blessings of God and forefathers. Guest guest
Dear ... In USA, vaastu was not previously known. So many of us have homes that do not face east, etc. Nor are we in a financial position to build a proper vaastu home at the present time. Will everyone in the family wearing kavaches help with the improper home, or is there some other remedy that you would recommend? Thank you. Guest guest
Hello dear Mr. David, Wearing a Kavach helps. But at the same time if it is possible to provide a small window in the north east direction and keeping the place of meditation/worship in the north east direction, it would be better.
