respected sir,

Male born October, 1942.

The lord of the fourth house, Saturn, is strong and placed in the

seventh house. The lord of the ninth house, the Moon, is strong and

exactly influences the most effective points of the fifth and

eleventh houses. The native was brilliant in his studies and cleared

competitive examination for the top bureaucratic assignments of the

country. Jupiter, ruling the house of status, is well-placed in its

sign of exaltation, but is weak due to its being in the state of

infancy. The lord of the eleventh house, Mercury, being strong and

placed in its own mooltrikona sign, blessed the native with excellent

analytical power. Taken everything together, these made positive

contribution in the matter of status. The functional malefic planet

Mars is weak due to being combust, badly placed, in the state of

infancy, weakly disposed, and exactly afflicted by Venus. Venus is

weak due to its being combust, debilitated, in the state of old-age,

debilitated in navamsa, and exactly afflicted by Mars. The malefic

Ketu closely afflicts the badly placed, debilitated and weakly

disposed Sun in the chart. The weakness and affliction of several

planets gives deterioration of functional health at an early stage in

life i.e. the ageing process starts early in life.

The weakness and affliction to the lord of the tenth house resulted

in an obstructed growth in career, in the main period of the Sun. The

main period of the Moon, however, put the things back in shape. The

weakness of Venus resulted in the weak health of the wife, who became

diabetic in a very early stage of life. The native belongs to an All

India Service. The main period of Mars does not augur well for health

and status matters. The strong position of Saturn is indicative of

satisfactory level of assets in life. The strong position of the lord

of the eleventh house, Mercury, ensures continuous inflow of good

income.

In above example following confusions are there

Ø Saturn is said to be strong though it is in state of infancy

at 1 deg 18 minutes. Will it give good results for asserts in life.

Ø Jup is exalted, well placed and is at 3 deg 1 minute(state of

infancy) Why is it weak whereas saturn is strong.

Ø Mars is at 6 deg still it is said to be in state of infancy.

Ø Venus at 5 deg 29 minutes is said to be in state of old age.

How is it afflicted by mars. There is no aspect of mar on venus

either in natal chart or navmasa.

Ø Monn well placed & strong is widely afflicted by venus in

natal chart.

Ø Mer is having close conj. With MMP venus in natal chart. Will

it not harm benefic influence of Mer.

These observations are made causing confusion .Kindly clarify the

same.

Hello dear Mr. Sharma,

You appear to be reading some old edition of the book. Please do not get

confused. As the books have been updated with the updation of the principles

of SA, it is important that you follow the latest rules and ignore the texts

in the old books which have been revised or are under revision. I would

suggest you to read the latest edition of the book.

Best wishes,
