Guest guest
Dear Professor and List: I am having trouble seeing wealth increased by inheritance in the following chart: Male, Nov.11, 1952, 3:30am EST, 43N22, 80W19. The native's father died on 12 September, 2005 and left a seven figure inheritance which sets the native up for life. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks, Chuck
Guest guest
Hello Chuck, I think that in this case Mars as the lord of 8th house is the significator of inheritance. Mars is transiting his own sign in 8th house until next February promoting its own significations. Jupiter, lord of 4th house of parents is transiting the second house of wealth. There might be current short-term delaying transit factors like transit Mars receiving the impact of natal Sun, but next sub-period is that of Venus lord of second house placed at birth in the fourth house. It seems to me that these configurations reflect an increase of wealth. Maybe other members have something to add. Guest guest
Hello Chuck and list members, Non-afflicting Mars, lord of inheritance in 4th and Jupiter lord of 4th house in 8th away from MEP? Guest guest
Hello Jean and list members. I can understand 8H lord in 4H indicating parental inheritance, but it would seem to suggest the maternal side, not the paternal. I will have to check with the native to confirm in fact which parent the money came from. I can also understand 4H lord in 8H as an FB, but it is quite afflicted by the 12H lord Sun in 2H. I would wish the Professor to weigh in on this chart, if possible. Thanks again for your input. Guest guest
Hello dear Mr. Chuck, Inheritance is ruled by eighth house. L8 is well placed in the natal chart which is not causing afflictions in the natal chart. The lord of the fourth house ruling parents is placed in the eighth house and though it is weak, it is aspected by the planet of affluence Sun. So, there is chance of an inheritance in this case. Guest guest
Hello dear Chuck, My message just crossed this message. Inheritance can be from any source including the spouse. Guest guest
> >Dear Professor and List: Thank you for your reply. I spoke with the native today, and he informed me his mother was the one who brought money to the marriage, which would make sense. The father invested it well, and their resources subsequently grew. The mother predeceased the father, who left a sizable inheritance. Just to clarify, Professor, even though the Sun as FM in 2H, is not near the MEP, but afflicts Jupiter in 8H, also not near the MEP, this would increase the likelihood of an inheritance? If the Sun was near the MEP as FM, this would lessen the chances of an inheritance? Thank you for your consideration of this chart. Guest guest
Hello dear Professor, Chuck and list members, Could-it be that the opposition aspect (of 3 degrees 24) of the Sun, lord of losses, to Jupiter would show here more the " early " loss of parents than the possibility of the loss of inheritance? The fact being reinforced by the placement of non afflicting Mars in the 4th house. With kind regards, Jean - <siha Sunday, October 16, 2005 12:46 AM Re: Inheritance > Hello dear Mr. Chuck, > > Inheritance is ruled by eighth house. Guest guest
Hello dear Mr. Jean, Affliction of Jupiter is indicative of early loss of mother and some loss of inheritance after acquisition by the native.
