Guest guest
Dear Professor As we know the Sun is karaka for the 5th house. The Sun never afflicts its MT 5th sign Leo, so my question is if it also never afflicts its karaka 5th house if it is not a non MT sign like for example in my case Taurus. Thanks again, Rui. Guest guest
Hello Rui, The role as an afflictor planet depends on its functional nature. It can afflict the house for which it is a karka if it is a functional malefic planet. However, in case of Taurus ascendant since the Sun is a functional benefic planet it does not afflict. Guest guest
Hello dear Professor, I am Capricorn, Taurus would be my 5th, so that means the Sun (8th MT lord) would still afflict it when transiitng it from Scorpio... even though it is karaka for 5th house. Thanks again, Rui. On 01/12/05, siha <siha wrote: > > Hello Rui, > > The role as an afflictor planet depends on its functional nature. Guest guest
Hello Rui, Yes, in the case of Capricorn asdt your understanding of affliction by Sun is right.
