Classical astrology says; Sun in the ninth house is detrimental to father and to the native's relationship with him. SA is based on functional nature of planets. 1. Sun the lord of 12th in 9th, have association with Saturn lord of 6th. 2.Jupiter the lord of 4th have mutual aspect with lord of 8th nearly 42 percent. 3. Rahu afflicts Mercury at 9th, afflicted Mercury aspects the Moon (the emotions and mind), Ketu afflicts the Moon. I hope 4th house represents parents paricularly mother, the relationship with mother is exceptionaly good. I am confused which one of the above is predominant in the detrimental to the father-son relationship? Even in the absence of MT sign ninth house continues to rule father. When there is no mooltrikona sign in a house, there is no lord of the house. When the Sun as a fm planet closely influences MEP of the ninth house it is detrimental for the father. I need one more clarification on this subject. The results of multrikona sign will predominate or prevail over a non- multrikona if a planet owns two signs. In case of affliction the multrikona sign is harmmed more than non- multrikona. Now I put up one more chart for purely learning. I will give two known events also. DOB 22/09/1947; TOB 13:50 IST; 79E39; 10N46; India. 1. When the native was young, mother expired (1955). 2. Native left his father in middle stage of teenage, never seen eye to eye until his father's death in 1997. His father had long lease of life.(Both abondoned each other) In this chart ninth house multrikona of Sun is stronger, Sun is stronger and is in tenth house. Mercury in tenth house, its own multrikona is stronger plus aspects from Saturn from 8th house. Aspect of Rahu on Sun is only 31%; Jupiter the lagna lord in 12th is under Rahu & Ketu Axis. MEP of Fourth House and Tenth house is under 50% benefic aspect of Mercury and no malefic effect hence it is stronger. Venus is debilitated and combust.The lord of 8th house,the MMP moon is in Lagna. Event 1: the death of mother may be in the main period of Venus and Sub-period of Moon.(the event is known Hence i presume). The order of signification for mother is 4th, 9th and Moon. So Moon and Venus is the culprit. No role for Sun (9th MT) and Jupiter(4th non-MT). Please enlighten me. Event 2. father: 9th house, 4th house, Sun and Jupiter. Affliction of Sun by Rahu is morethan 2 degree orb. Hence 9th house and Sun is not weak. Jupiter is under exact axis with Rahu and Ketu, hence heavy afflicted, but 4th house is non-multrikona hence it is very good. The net result is Jupiter the secondary or additional karaka made the relationship detrimental. Jupiter overpowered the Sun. please enlighten me. Can I take for granted the 4th is a good house, not fuelled anything bad because it is a non-multrikona and has no lord. I am extremely sorry for wasting your precious time. Jupiter is weak due to infancy and bad placement and the affliction of Ketu and Rahu. Rahu afflicts from the sixth house involving the incidence of conflicts in the personality of the native. This weak and afflicted Jupiter is the dispositor of the Moon which rules mother and since there is no MT sign in the fourth house Moon fully governs the mother. Due to the weakness and affliction of Jupiter Moon placed in its MT sign house suffered and is the cause of the early death of mother. The Moon is the lord of the eighth house which governs the inheritance/comforts & happiness from father. The weakness and affliction of the dispositor of the Moon showed relationship problem with the father. Mars the lord of emotional happiness is also weak due to infancy and bad placement and it is afflicted by the exact aspect of Ketu from the house of losses. I have seen a chart of someone whose details are DATE -2ND JULY 1974 TIME 07.23 AM PLACE- NEW DELHI In this chart venus benefic is near MEP of 11th (containing non mooltrikona sign) this means venus being benefic should help her gain(earn) through higher education or children.Especialy as she is running through venus mahadasha. But contrary to this she is under financial crisis. She got recently divorced ,quite predictable because 8th is combust and in dusthsthana, 2nd lod is under malefic influence and in dusthana.She was totally dependent on him.Her husband has not given her alimony.She lost her father in 1988 during Ket Saturn dash , so true because sun is in dusthsthana and under malefic saturn influence. Astrology is easy to learn, but analysis is too much taxing the mind. The chart I put up is mine only. I knew only the month of birth, and year and place of birth. Time and Date I knew nothing. When I started learning, I thought if I have mine is better. I approached a Nadi astrologer, after a hesitation he agreed. With my thumb impression he started searching 'Suvadi " one by one, and read out. At one stage, some points are tallied like father and mother name and family background. He marked the lagna and all grahas and gave me a chart. He failed to give degree positions and time of birth. With my very little knowledge and basic SA rules I made made the chart to represent the time of birth. I am now happy the horoscope tells the events as per SA techniques. If you could give your opinion whether the chart still needs rectification, i will be happy.
