Strenght and Weakness of a houses-an analysis

Respected Sir,

Many - many good wishes for the holiday season. Sir, as per your

advise I have studied very throughly before putting this folowing

question. I hope this time you will have no regrets about my impatience.

 

I was going through the notes on Strength and weakness of a

particular house I coincidently faced a confusion , which I would like

to share with you for the benefit of List members . We know that a

particular house is weak if its the lord (incase the house contaiin a

mooltrikona sign) is weak, Its General or secondary significator is

weak /afflicted. In my case(details given in the end) the fourth house

has malefic sun about 1.5 degree from MEP ,It doesnt contain a

mooltrikona sign so just checking the significator MOON which is

strong and to an extent Venus another significator of 4th house is ok

.So can it be concluded that 4th house is not afflicted by sun

because significators are strong (due to strong significators,

affliction of house could have been possible only if SUN would have

afflicted MEP within 1 degree.)???

 

2 On similar lines about 10th house , since the 10th lord jupiter is

afflicted but significators of 10th sun is strong ,other significator

mars is fine, Mercury is weak.So does the strenghth of significators

sun and mars protecting 10th house from affliction by Sun (because the

affliction by sun is not exact affliction i.e it is outside 1 degree).??

 

Please clearify this doubt.

Hello Dev,

 

The orb of affliction for a non MT sign house is five degrees. When there

are both favorable and unfavorable influences the affliction takes the

precedence. The strength of the significators cannot balance the

affliction.

Respected Sir,

THANKS for you enlightenment!

Sir as per your view ,4th house is afflicted by malefic Sun. Since

Mercury is combust as well as afflicted by Sun .So it means that basic

education shouldnt be ok . But as far as I feel the basic education

was fine rather I faced lot of problems in my profesional education.

Where I am the missing the point?

Moon is significator of basic education which is strong in your case. No
