I am not sure on how Surya Namaskar is performed, I have looked at some websites. I know how all the 12 different postions, do I need to know the mantras, also is there anything else. I can only guide you for the later where you can recite the mantra for 11 times while saluting the Sun with folded hands - Aum Namoh Narayan Aaye. Saluting the sun with palms together standing straight reciting mantra 11 time is ok? Is Surya Namaskar best done before or after normal mediation? Can Surya Namaskar be done in doors or outside in a open area? Also can more than one round be done on reciting mantra Aum Namoh Narayan Aaye 11 times? Also, I know mantras like the one you mentioned can be used for both remedy or strengthening. Yantras are used for strengthening benefics. Can yantras be used to appease malefics?
