Solar eclipse

[ 1 ] The eclipse upaya should be done when the eclipse is over. If

the eclipse goes beyond the sun set , in that case , the upaya

should be done next morning after sun rise.

[ 2 ] Normally the eclipse upaya should be done when the eclipse is

visible in that area.

[ 1 ] SUN + RAHU :

All those who have Sun + Rahu in any house of the horoscope should

immerse in a river / canal / or sea :

a handful of Jau { barley },

sarson { mustard seeds }

and kachcha koyala { wood charcoal }

[ 2 ] SUN + SATURN :

All those who have Sun + Saturn in any house of the horoscope are

also advised to immerse in a river / canal / or sea :

a few whole almonds { sabut badam with shell },

a little mustard oil

and a nariyal { dry pooja nariyal }

Apart from the three items mentioned above they should also immerse:

{ Sun + Saturn = mangal ashubh }

Therefore , immerse in the river / canal or sea , after the eclipse

is over, the karak objects of mangal ashubh , Saturn and rahu.

Immerse a handful of Rewari { a sweet of gur and til } along with

Jau { barley },

and sarson tel { mustard oil }

If rahu or Saturn have a full aspect on Sun , the sun is

affected but not eclipsed. Therefore I do not think it calls for a

solar eclipse upaya.

Even for those where the eclipse is not visible there is no harm in

doing this upaya but they should do the upaya again whenever a solar

eclipse is visible in their area.
