(15 miles) south of the city of Yogyakarta, the US Geological Survey (USGS)

said.

Dear List,

The Sun and the Moon were conjunct, which brings high tides, in an

earthen sign, Taurus.

The combust exalted Moon was exactly afflicted by Ketu, and the Sun

was closely afflicted by Ketu.

Ketu was closely influenced by Saturn, which was closely afflicted

by Rahu.

Ketu was also in an earthen sign, and Rahu & Saturn were in

watery signs.

That influences are better understood in the background of the

rectified chart of Indonesia. The operational dasha was Mo/Ju/Ra/Sa/Mo.

The sub-period lord, natal Jupiter & transit Jupiter, L4, were afflicted by transit Ketu/Rahu

axis and by Rahu, respectively.  The Moon, significator of H4, besides being afflicted by transit Ketu and transit Sun in

transit, was also exactly afflicted by transit Sun and closely afflicted by

transit Rahu in rashi .

As the combust Moon was operational at 2 levels, the exact

affliction of Ketu and the Sun over the Moon was the triggering effect of these

triple transit influences.

The lagna lord, transit Mercury, was combust and exactly afflicted

by the MMP, natal Mars.

Best wishes,

Jorge

Hundreds

die in Indonesian quake

At least 1,400 people have been killed and thousands more injured by a

strong earthquake that struck the Indonesian island of Java, officials have

said.

The quake, measuring 6.2, flattened buildings in a

densely-populated area near the city of Yogyakarta on the

southern coast of Java.

Witnesses said people fled as their homes collapsed around them,

after the quake struck early in the morning.

Electricity and communications across the city were also down,

police said.

Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono

has ordered the military to help evacuate victims.

Yogyakarta's airport was closed. Local media said

the runway had cracked and part of a roof had caved in.

Yogyakarta is near the Mount Merapi volcano, which

threatened to erupt earlier this month, forcing thousands of people to be

evacuated.

The earthquake is not thought to be

caused by the volcano, but there are reports of heightened activity in its

vicinity.

Officials said that although the area affected was coastal there

was no tsunami resulting from the quake.
