Zidane - a true legend - NOT

Dear All,

I had a feeling it would be real close...France's sub-period lord

(Mars) is weaker in transit today than is Italy's (Saturn) among other

factors.

I had picked France earlier on, however, mainly on the basis of the

strength of its sub-period lord.

I looked at Zidane's chart soon after his moronic head butt...

It is troublesome today as his transit Moon is in the 8th and is near

natal L8 Jupiter.

He is also in the sub-period of Moon, which is placed in his 6th house.

He is also having a nodal reapproach...

Dear Arun

I'm not sure 3H00 is the correct bith time.

I made last year a first rectification around 2H40, which gives 28°xx Aries

with strong Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, and Moon on 1H and 7H'MEP. These strong

planets explain his career and worldwide recognition.

Tonight transits were not favorable for him : transit Mercury afflicting

natal Mars conjunct to natal Ketu under influence of Rahu in the 12H. He

loosed his legendary " cool " attitude...

Hope this helps

Dear Mr. Cohen,

This chart does in fact make more sense from an international

recognition/fame standpoint.

But he is running the sub-period of Moon in this chart as well, which

should have been helpful for his overall image.

He now ends his career in disgrace, unfortunately.

Also, his professional determinant Mars is weak and is under exact

affliction of the nodes...

But the strong Sun helps in this chart...perhaps he is still Taurus

Asc., but the time is a bit off? Sun in the 2nd and near the MEP works

quite well too...

Best Wishes,

TR Mercury is RX - and under the aspect of TR Rahu - not the best transit for correct thinking :-)

Dear Mr Arun

Imho, Sun is under Jupiter MMP affliction in Taurus chart. This cannot

explain success or recognition at any level. Also, Zidane is the father of

four sons, difficult to imagine if Sun is strongly affflicted.

In Aries, the Moon subperiod operating now is not enough to couteract the

transit effects which are not positive.

I'm not sure Zidane has reached the " point of disgrace " .

In Aries chart, strong Jupiter acts like a strong Sun according to the new

principles brought out by Pr Choudhry. This configuration is enough to

explain his phenomenal success, given the weakness of natal Mars, partly

compensated by Moon's impact on mep.

Dear Mr. Cohen,

Quite frankly, the entire world is experiencing the effects of

Rahu-Mercury in various degrees, not just Mr. Zidane.

But I agree that it would be more severe if he is Aries Asc. because

of the additional affliction to natal Mars, ruling personality, image,

etc.

The affliction by Mercury to the 3rd house MEP in the case of Aries

and the weakness of natal Mars do not show great athletic talent,

success, or achievements. I guess the strong Sun compensates here as well.

Good point about having 4 sons...I was not aware of that. Jupiter-Sun

mutual aspect and their strengths in the case of Aries makes a lot of

sense there.

As for his overall reputation, only time will tell. Personally, I

would judge the entire body of work, but there are many who will

remember him mainly for having lost control of his emotions at the

most crucial of all times.

At this point, I am leaning towards Aries...so thanks for the added

insight.

Best Wishes,

Arun

Dear Mr. Cohen,

If I am not mistaken, the strong L9 aspect of the latest principle

deals more with the father/fortune aspect of Sun's significations.

So, this alone isn't enough evidence I would think.

However, the Sun being strong in the case of Aries and its placement

in the 3rd house is a great boon for Mr. Zidane.
