She is not overly tall, 5'6 " , but she is very long in the face and limbs, betraying the Taurus description. Any thoughts on this? The Mars period may have been when the shock wore off and the realization of the loss of a partner arrived. Good call on the Saturn traits for the second house of the face. Whenever I have only latitude/longitude without a named place, I throw the coordinates into Mapquest's Maps by Latitude/Longitude page at http://www.mapquest.com/maps/latlong.adp to get the place. Remember to put a minus sign in front of south latitudes and west longitudes. Also, you have to fill in all the fields so put " 00 " where the seconds go. Pretty cool stuff... There was dst so 3.30 , there is no way to add it otherwise to 2.30. ? I left out the minus sign and got somewhere in Russian maybe. The 3rd house is a male planet Sun, the sibling is dependent on the the sister a strong 3rd lord as in the case of Taurus doesnt support this. Death of Husband is possible in the Mars subperiod as natal Moon was caught between the stationary Nodes(4/10 axis), Moon being the 2nd lord and prime signifactor for Husband for Gemini, in addition to Natal combust Mars being badly placed in the 6th for Gemini. For the month of March Venus was transiting the 8th and Saturn was again afflicted in the 2nd in Transit. In case of Taurus the native would have experienced troubles to Brother or sibling. For Gemini the D9 Ascendant lord would be Venus also the general signifactor for marriage, which in D1 is badly placed in the 8th. When you say placid do you mean in appearance or attitude? I would wait for events of life to judge the ascendant,more so since the transit of March 06 was more to do with husband than sibling in the subperiod of Mars. One small note on the mother, for both the ascendant the general signifactor for mother Moon is strong but the Primary signifactor for Taurus is the Sun and for Gemini Mercury, both are weak, Sun due to bad placement and Mercury due to combustion, a weak fast moving Rajasic combust planet Mercury can also give the same results as a badly placed Sun. Mercury signifying mother explains under-nourisment more than the sattvic royal planet Sun. Also Close association of the 3rd lord of younger sibling with the 4th lord in the 7th of family , can bring such sibling asscoiation.
