Guest guest
Dear and List Members, Not too long ago I wrote about a gentleman who had eye surgery and the problems he experienced afterwards. Now, he is considering a vasectomy for next week at 9:30am Mountain Daylight Time, September 13, 2006. A review of his chart shows this would not be a good day. I invite others to comment on my obervations. Birth Data: Jun 18, 1963 9:46 AM +04:00 EDT Philadelphia, PA:USA Longitude: 75W10 Latitude: 39N57 First, he is in a Rahu/Sun period where the Sun is weak by infancy, debilitation in navamsa, and placement in the 12H. This is not a strong period for him especially given that natal Ketu afflicts transiting Sun at 90% at the time of surgery. Transiting 6L, FM Jupiter, representing health, aspects the ascendant ruler and another significator for health, Moon, at 66%. It also afflicts the 4, 8, 10, 12 houses which could produce loss of peace of mind and obstacles, not to mention problems to the outer sexual organs (8H). Transiting MMP Saturn would be at 88% over his ascendant MEP and aspecting his 7H MEP which rules inner sexual organs. He should wait until the malefic transits clear, but would it still be unwise to have an operation during his weak Sun subperiod? Should he wait until the upcoming Moon subperiod, which although still weak, is stronger? Thank you. Warm regards, Shayn
Guest guest
Dear Dr. Smith, I would strongly recommend that he postpone the procedure, at least until the transit afflictions clear. The sub-period of Moon may pose even more health problems as it is the weak lagna lord under the close affliction of natal Ketu from the 6th house. 6th lord Jupiter is afflicting the ascendant MEP closely, and so I would not recommend that he have the operation during a Moon sub-period. Ideally he should wait until his Mars sub-period in 2008, although it is a long way from now. Guest guest
Hello Shayn, I often see this, people schedule surgeries when there is some fashion of Ketu or another functional malefic or dhustana involved. It seems the event does not take place unless a dire circumstance arises and the corresponding negative planetary configurations. After that I guess we do the best we can under the circumstances. I had one person having breast surgery/biopsy (without consultation), Rahu was afflicting the Moon. The biopsy went alright, only there was so much confusion and later legal battle with the drugs that were administered being too strong. Another person had surgery when I believe it was eighth lord in the twelth (transitting that is), but there were no other afflictions and the surgery went as expected.
