Guest guest
Hello Vinod, It is not mandatory to take dakshina/consultation fee every time from every body. An astrologer should be considerate and should help poor and needy with his/her advice without any monetary consdieration. Certainly, you can follow your own thinking. This is right and there is nothing wrong with it. Best wishes. - " Sambhav " <sambhav28 Friday, April 20, 2007 9:39 AM Please clear the confusion Dear Sir, How far is this true that for an Astrologer, it is mandatory to take Dakshina after reading every horoscope. One of my office co worker (who is a Vedic Astrologer) does this every time and says that its a rule of Astrology to take Dakshina otherwise the remedies provided to the native would not work. I feel very bad when a native comes to him and he says that he will predict only when the native will give him Dakshina of 1001 rupees. I am not saying that Astrologer should not take any thing in return because for some of the full time Astrologers, this is the only mode of earning. But, they should not predict for money only. Rich people, who are able to bear the expenses, can spend as much money required and it is not bad to take money from them (which most of the Astrologers do). What if a poor person is in need of correct remedies and he doesn't have money. I know if remedies suggested to him require a Gem stone or a Kavach to be purchased then he has to spend some money because the Astrologer will not bear the expense himself. But, as far as prediction goes, I think this is the least thing the Astrologer can do for him. I believe that Astrology is a divine science and a medium to connect people to the God. It should be used to make people happy in life by showing them the right path. This is the reason why I am learning Astrology and I don't intend to take any thing in return of that. Please guide me if I am doing any thing wrong. Seeking your blessings. Vinod. Ahhh...imagining that irresistible " new car " smell? Check outnew cars at Autos. Guest guest
Dear Vinod, Also consider that for the astrologer personally, the below advice from the Professor is a powerful astrological remedy in and of itself. Lila An astrologer should be considerate and should help poor and needy with his/her advice without any monetary consideration. ==============Original message text=============== On Thu, 19 Apr 2007 23:16:02 CDT siha wrote: Hello Vinod, It is not mandatory to take dakshina/consultation fee every time from every body. Guest guest
Dear Sir I fully agree with your assertion. Astrology can`t be taken as any other ordinary scientific pursuit. It is the gift of GOD to a few privileged with a clear mandate to help and guide the needy and misdirected. Any commercial consideration in it may rob the practioner of its power unless the remuneration is given voluantrily and the astrologer does`nt expect it. This is in any case my personal opinion Regards Rajive Jamwaal _____ On Behalf Of Sambhav Friday, April 20, 2007 12:09 PM Please clear the confusion Dear Sir, How far is this true that for an Astrologer, it is mandatory to take Dakshina after reading every horoscope.
