New Delhi (India) time zone 5.30 hours. Ascendant Libra 4.11 The person asked me during the sub period of the Sun whether he would get promotion in his department. In this chart the person gave competitive exams at the time when Tr sat was at mep of h11 aspecting h1 (self), h5 (sucess thru competition and intelligence) , and h8 (easy gains), and he cleared his promotional exams due to Tr saturn at mep irrespective of weak sub lord. Now if this Tr saturn was away from mep say at 20* would he have cleared exams or not, As then Tr saturn would not have been able to have the desired strong impact on the aspecting houses irrespective of natal strength of sat. I'm learning SA for one year with the help of Pr Choudhry's books.Rémi Panisset also helps me very generously. About the case presented by Pr Choudhry, I would like to show something. I always compare results obtained with Moon's position calculated including parallax. Planetary periods are sometimes different that those calculated without parallax. In the present case, the current sub-period lord is Venus. Venus is quite strong, in spite of debilitated navamsa and dasamsa, in SLH and on the MEP of house of status. She activates natal and transit Saturn, both very strong. Saturn is yogakaraka for Libra rising charts. Perhaps this person got his promotion when Venus and Sun were on 11's MEP. I wonder if this analysis don't support the relevance of parallax ? I'm waiting impatiently for all your answers. If there is no MT sign in the fifth house then the lord of the third or second house become the significator of success in competitions.
