Guest guest
Dear and forum members, as some of you may have gathered by now, I am a new student of 's SA vedic astrology course, so please forgive my ignorant questions. I need a clarification of the maha dasa and bhukti lords (main period and sub-period lords) written about in 's books. Let me give you an example of my lack of understanding. According to my birth chart, I am currently in the Main period of Venus and the Sub-period of Jupiter (both malific planets for me a Taurus acsendent). The general trend of events in my life should be negative due to the malific nature of my Bhukti lord (Jupiter), modified by the planetary transits on a day to day basis with regard to my Natal chart planetary positions, MEP of my houses, aspections and conjunctions of benefic, malific, strong and weak planets. So far I think I understand fairly well, but I get into doubt and confusion when I look at how long the Main and sub-periods last (1996-11-18 to 2016-11-18 for Main lord Venus, and 2007-1-17 to 2009-9-19 for Sub lord Jupiter). Are these the Main and sub-period lords refered to in the books? or is it more like the Pratyantardasa lord and Sookshma- antardasa lord? The reason I am confused is due to some of the really good things that have happened in these last two years, and how unlikely that good things should have happened in these malific planetary periods. Thank you for your patience in reading this.
Guest guest
Dear Jyotisha101 Congratulations for joining the Group !! A malefic if unafflicted and unafflicting brings the trend of good results in its sub-period resulting into its general/particular significations (along Triple transit influence and natal placements have to be looked upon). Much can be elaborated by looking at the chart. Guest guest
Thank you and Sachin for your kind replies. I realized almost immediatly after posting that previous message that I hadn't taken the time to Run the example charts in Professor Choudhry's books. I ran a few of the charts and answered my question regarding Dasa and Bhukti lords. I will keep studying Namaste , " SIHA " <vkchoudhry wrote: > > Hello Shawn, > > Your continuous reading of the books will help you understand the things. > > FMs can give the good results pertaining to their positive significations if they are strong/well placed in the birth chart. > > You may read more on this at: > http://www.jyotishremedies121.com/theory/t25.htm > > Best wishes. > > > www.YourNetAstrologer.com > www.JyotishRemedies121.com > A-105, South City II, Gurgaon 122018-01, (India). > Phones: 2219240 (STD 0124, ISD code 91 124) > Mobile phone: 9811016333 > > - > jyotisha101 > > Thursday, October 16, 2008 2:35 AM > Vimsottari Dasa Maha and Bhukti lords question > > > Dear and forum members, > as some of you may have gathered by now, I am a new student of > 's SA vedic astrology course, so please forgive my > ignorant questions.
