What about in my case with Capricorn Ascendant, I was given amethyst and offered and the day I put on experienced very bad results that whole day. I then attributed this to the fact that I have transiting Saturn aspecting Venus in my chart and I am now in Venus period. So, wouldnt strengthening make restricting effects of Saturn greater? When I put it I was thinking of your recommendation to wear since it was for FB but then when I had bad results that were really out of place that day I was confused and just removed. In this case when one is to chose what to strengthen it is better to go with a planet that generally isnt being afflicted and whos affects could be contrary to the general period? or is that more a personal decision? if strengthening of saturn were done properly for me now what would be the effects? after i had the experience with the amethyst i decided to stick to mercury and i got nice green quartz and as soon as i put it on everything i was waiting on just came together and i was able to take a trip, got money, etc. my inclination was to let venus and saturn do their thing until sept and focus on what could be done, away from them 2 and strengthen mercury.
