Guest guest
Hello Mr. Iver, There is a difference between the weakness and affliction. A Saturn rules both the crude oil and the crude producing countries. A weak Saturn can cause the short production and can bring down the prices (the producers may not get the right price for their products). Affliction by Rahu to weak Saturn can cause manipulations of various dimensions including that of demand manipulation and the prices and supply can wildly fluctuate. Guest guest
Hello Mr. Iver, In natural zodiac there is no affliction of Saturn to Rahu as of now. In US chart under reference, Saturn rules the eighth house which rules obstructions, easy gains and setbacks besides the general signification of Saturn being the oil. There the prolonged influence of Saturn on Rahu can make things difficult for US on financial front (here oil can also be included), cause accidents involving notable deaths, drug business and can cause obstructions and setbacks in US ventures overseas - e.g. in Iraq, etc. Best wishes, www.YourNetAstrologer.com A-105 South City-II Gurgaon-122101, INDIA. Guest guest
Dear Professor and John TBW, You make good points. Re. the Grimes chart - if it is 3+ hours off, Natal Saturn would still be in the same position and therefore under affliction from Transit Rahu right now. My computer and software won't allow me to look at the 1700s.. What would the revised chart for this date look like? Re. oil - isn't it true that since Saturn has been weak (since July24,2004 ) in old age, then infancy, then retrograde back to old age, where it is now, oil prices have been high, very high worldwide? Hence weak Saturn yielding high prices. RE. oil supply - From my study on this subject several things are clear: - the entire world has been examined with highly technical/advanced methods and no new giant oil fields have been found like those of the past. - the point of diminishing returns has been reached in most of the world so it takes a lot of new/expensive wells to produce not much more oil. - Many, many countries are net importers of oil. When they became net importers was carefully predicted and documented. - The middle east/OPEC provide much of the oil needed by countries that can't provide enough of their own. - In recent years OPEC has moved from low 90s percent of production to high 90s so they can't just increase production a lot as before to keep prices moderated. If they push their fields too hard they will actually cause them to decline prematurely. I believe del is right about manipulation of supply in the past has led to some unnecessary higher prices. I just don't think manipulation of supply will be much of an option in the future. - In this supply environment any reduction in supply will cause prices to go up a lot - In this supply environment just the continued growth in demand from economic growth around the world will make prices go up..... and stay up when it exceeds supply. - All governments, oil companies, experts agree that when demand exceeds supply prices will go up. Once the gap between supply and demand becomes visible and governments realize there is no going back prices will skyrocket. When that time comes wouldn't SA say it will be triggered by prolonged weakness and/or affliction to Saturn in transit like the event starting in Sept.? A lively discussion!! John Re. This transit influence is unfavorable for most of the ascending signs and it is likely to last till next week end. The transit Mars would also get involved. Patience, care and avoiding unnecessary journeys would be advisable. Best wishes. ---
Guest guest
Dear SAMVA list members, I forward this message from Satva101 as it is pertinent to our study of the national chart for India. The Sensex dropped 465 points (-3%) on Friday and today it has fallen further at the open. The India 7° 42' Taurus rising chart has Venus-Mercury period operating. The events are primarily explained by the transit of 6th lord MARS at 22° Cancer where it is exactly conjunct natal 12th lord VENUS. At the same time, natal 4th lord SUN at 27° Cancer is conjunct FM KETU at 26° Cancer and opposite transit RAHU in Capricorn and 9th house. Finally, transit 4th lord SUN and 6th lord VENUS are exactly conjunct at 24° Taurus in the ascendant, with both receiving the close afflicting aspect of transit RAHU at 26° Capricorn and 9th house. Sub-period lord, Mercury, as 5th lord of speculation, is caught up in the affliction at 22° Taurus and the 1st house. Such massive afflictions are being strongly felt in the country, including in the financial market. YES. <snip> On Sat, 07 Jun 2008 SIHA wrote :>>Hello dear list members,>>There is close conjunction of Sun, Venus and Mercury and all of them are>under the close influence of Rahu. Guest guest
Hello dear list members, The transit influences in the SAMVA US chart indicate that while some amount of of economic upward trends start after August, 2009, it meets obstructions up to the end of 2009. The apprehensions of the people are likely to persist and confidence generation is likely to take time. The countries exporting to US will also continue to face economic slow down. In October and November, 2009, US is likely to take further tough decisions on terrorism and countries where such activities are originating/persisting. Health, financies and foreign relations remain key issue for the US. Some scandals are likely to be exposed.

Guest guest
Hello my dear Sankra, The forecast also includes countries which are exporting to US. The outlook for the exporting counties continues to be damp and specially for those who have Cancer, Virgo or Capricorn as ascending signs. The tough decisions by US in October, 2009 and November, 2009, may prove to be incorrect decisions for economic and international scenario. - SANKARA BHAGAVADPADA Monday, July 13, 2009 8:56 AM Re: TRANSIT INFLUENCES My Dear Prof Choudhry, Namasthe.Thank you very much for this timely forecast of trends for the US Govt and people. Guest guest
Dear Professor, thank you for this summary. I find these very helpful. How quickly do you predict these trends to turn around after the first of the year? Will it be a quick change or very gradual? Guest guest
Dear , I have been enjoying and reflecting on your insightful predictions for over a year now. Would you please share with us your predictions for the upcoming solar eclipse on July 22nd and the transition of Saturn into Virgo. I am going to post something I read today, in hopes that you will give us your point of view. " Mumbai astrologer Raj Kumar Sharma predicted " some sort of attack by (Kashmiri separatists) Jaish-e-Mohammad or Al-Qaeda on Indian soil " and a devastating natural disaster in Southeast Asia. An Indian political leader could be killed, he said, and tension between the West and Iran is likely to increase, escalating into possible US military action after September 9, when fiery Saturn moves from Leo into Virgo. " The last 200 years, whenever Saturn has gone into Virgo there has been either a world war or a mini world war, " he told AFP " .
