Guest guest
My Dear Professor, During the the maha and antar dasha of the 8th lord, (i.e. MO/MO, MA/MA, VE/VE. etc): If the 8L is the 2nd house and off the MEP, in good degrees, unafflicted and unafflicting, what results would be expected? Unexpected boons and gains, or tragic/life threatening experiences? Would you kindly describe what could be expected, and if this would indicate danger? Thank you. Guest guest
Lila, I hope you don't mind me jumping in...I just read this today from Sri Choudhry's site: " The placement of the planets in the second house, which rules status, brings status as per significations ruled by them. The good placement of eighth lord in the house of status brings easy gains with small or little efforts. " Source: http://www.yournetastrologer.com/predictive_techniques_insights.htm I would add that this is also true of the 8th lord going to other houses and neither being afflicted nor afflicting... it connects easy gains with the significations of the house of placement. The magnitude of those " easy gains " being commensurate with the the natal and transit strength of the 8th lord. Guest guest
Thank you, Matt. I would also think so. But 8L will move and bump into other planets by presence and by aspect, bringing with it malefic influences. So I am left unsure which would predominate during the 8L/8L dasha sequence, what the general flavor would be. Guest guest
Hello Lila, The significations of all planets/houses coming under the transit/natal influence of 8L would suffer. - lila SystemsApproachToVedic Astrology Friday, September 25, 2009 11:25 PM Re: [systemsApproachToVedic Astrology] Re: 8th lord Thank you, Matt.
