Early last month in August the lady of the chart below was struggling with a personal issue since mid-June. Remedial measures were suggested along with a prediction that the issue would alleviate by the end of this month (which it has). 1. What may be the issue? (There could be several...but I am looking for one in particular). 2. What are the astrological indications for the issue and its resolvement? Guest guest Posted September 29, 2009 Report Share Posted September 29, 2009 Let me try: I got Aquarius ascendant at 18:14 In May June, Nodes were in her 12th, 6th houses, stationed at around 6 degrees, severely afflicting the sub-period lord Venus in 6th house and main-period lord Mercury in 8th house. Also in June transit Saturn,going slow, was afflicted by her natal moon. Samarth was close in identifying the issue with 6th house matters. Rajeev specifically said " It could be health problems related to 6th house, and Venus. " The first clue is found in the planetary subperiod she is in currently. That would be weak Venus located in the 6th house. Indeed, when the transiting slow-moving Rahu-Ketu axis began positioning itself over the natal Venus (mid-June), she began to have sudden prolonged coughing attacks and could not breathe. Among the general significations of Venus are the throat, coughing, and asthma. Initially, she was treated for asthma, but the problem persisted. It was a typical Ketu misery and Rahu mystery (aspecting from the 6th and 12th houses respectively). By mid-September when the nodal axis separated one degree past the affliction and after seeing several medical specialists, it was determined that she had a problem called " vocal cord dysfunction. " This condition is often misdiagnosed as asthma because the symptoms are similar. Vocal cord dysfunction is characterized by the vocal chords closing and not properly allowing breath to come in or out of the lungs. In her case, her vocal chords were irregularly shaped. An additional factor to consider is Venus's dispositor the 6th house lord Moon which governs the lungs. It closely afflicts the most effective point of the ascendant. Now, with the nodal axis close to two degrees separation it appears that with the proper diagnosis and treatment she is on her way to recovery. This case study is clearly and elegantly explained by Systems' Approach. Thank you for this wonderful gift. And again, thank you Rajeeve and Samarth for participating in this exercise.
